I post this interesting tutorial, created by Dinasset (in his "My Plays" thread), to transform an image into a Mosaic Image.
I really think that this tutorial can be useful to learn to do this effect manually. He has already several scripts to do this effect but it's very useful to know how to do it manually.
I hope he will forgive me for doing it, being he the author.
In the attachment there are the PDF tutorial and the pattern used.
