Issabella, I would like to know if, after using the dinasset method for the first time on an image + pattern, you have started again on the same image with another pattern? (Post # 12 and 18)

Well, I normally post the first result that I get if I like it. However, if the result isn't enough good to my personal taste, I repeat the process again with other pattern or other settings. I'm not an expert in art at all, only let me guide by my impressions.

I thought it was called,
"From a potato to a painting".

I was expecting to see potatoes.

I was disappointed when I didn't see any.

Wow, I was just wondering what I could do to have the honour of a post by Wallace; since a couple of years I have increased (I don't want to say "enriched") GC with many filters, experiments, outcomes, recently even very simple tuts, and: nothing, no one single-word comment.
Now I know: I can't do anything except waiting for a misunderstanding. Better than nothing...

Yes dinasset,
You have enriched GC immensely over the years,
with many new and interesting works and filter etc.
I guess I can speak for us all.
By saying,
"thank you for all that you have contributed".

I'm not much of a "filter" user.
Most of my art/work with Gimp,
includes very little usage of filters.
I do admire you ability to creating these filters and other works.
However,
sadly I must say,
I don't find that much of my renderings require filters.
Perhaps I'm just not creative enough to use them effectively.

I will make an effort,
to change my usage of filter and try to use them more often.
No promises though.
