Revisited an old script to get a drawing effect

Issabella · **Posted:** Sat Feb 23, 2019 12:46 pm **(#1)**

This short drawing effect comes from an old script.
Having practiced the process on some pictures, I have written this tutorial. I'd love if someone finds it nice to practice it.
Also, it'd be gratifying to see his/her results in this thread. :paint

This is nice effect, saved the pdf thank you.
I switched the order in the end, and did curves adjustment last because it has the biggest effect on the final result.

Cool tutorial. :tyspin

I'll have to find a fitting picture but I must try this

I like that girl with the flute, she has something, hmm, elfish?
The other outcomes are great, too. :clap

The landscape fits very well to this effect, level_0

I did, several times

Maybe there is something different in 2.10 that I can't overcome right now, maybe I should upgrade

Well, voilà, not as nice as yours but a beginning:

My first two tries. The first did not have a correct mean value. The second did. I think it is the better of the two outcomes. Like so many of our other effects, not all images can be used effectively by all programs as Issabella has nicely shown. Thank you Issa for bringing back a nice way to get a drawing effect.

Pat, very nice results. You are right about the images. Being the same process the final results can even surprise us pleasantly.
Dinasset, What a wonderful image. I love it. It's really a beauty.
Ella, you did a wonderful outcome, too.
:jumpclap

for you all.

Another play, using a source which "one upon a time" was used by Lyle for showing Rodilius effect.
Again post-processed.
