Sorry I am late for playtime. I had company for Thanksgiving and the weekend so no Gimp time. However, I had my "Grandma" time which I dearly love. Here is a play that I fashioned from Lyle's method.
First. . . Normal Image, then I used local Orientation, Metallic look, then Gradient Map.
