Refining the way I create the mask for Voronoi stippler which I then feed back into G'MIC's Skeleton preset to create the mask for the bricks. Still a work in progress (utilizing my aboriginal rendering technique in unorthodox ways). :)

OK; a bit ugly but used the mask for a quicky Aboriginal as well (now it's time for me to hit the hay before I start my version of Friday). :)

Thanks Diego; yet one more before I hit the sack. Thought a marbled stone mosaic would look cool. :)

Appreciate the applause, level_0. Doubtful since it depends on Voronoi stippler; just wish someone could implement that in G'MIC. As for my test folder, if it weren't for samj and David (and I'm hoping I've not let any others out), I would not even have such a folder since programmer I'm not; just an ideas guy. :)

edit:

I did create the mask using David's stencil preset (you can sort of see the output with the second result which I colorized). It sort of guides the voronoi dots on and Opus Vermiculatum path instead of the random spread that it wants to do. :)

Thank you lylejk for your explanations, but too complicated for my level. :)

We all have to start somewhere level_0 then build upon experience. I only know about the mosaic techniques since I did a lot of research when I first discovered Dr. di Blasi's javascript mosaic creator many many years ago.

Call this one, "Crossed Arms". I did have some help with Inkscape's Jelly Jam for the glossy look (along with a blend of G'MIC's Freqy Pattern. Created the actual mask manually this time (better result though tedious) before finishing the mask with G'MIC's Stencil. Might be ending this binge, now; my weekend's about over and now I need to chill. lol

For the curious, I attached the mask used as well. :)
