I know what you mean mahvin. Some days are like that. I have Win 7 64bit on my laptop and I was very happy to be able to install Paint Shop Pro 7 and Animation shop on it. Now I have to practically learn all over how to use PSP.

I subscribe to a PSP Tubes newsgroup and they convert them to png images for me so I can use them in GIMP.

I quit using PSP when it started crashing during edits. But I kept my collections. Some open in GIMP, others don't. Not much changed about PSP after version 10. I don't think they even made any changes to the core of the program engine to improve it, I think they added some new plug-ins, changed the theme, and then repackaged it as new. I had serious looping issues with the database, too. Corel lacks good tech support. It's a "one shot deal" with them, if their first email fix/suggestion doesn't help or work, you're on your own. I have every version up to 13, all sitting in my office cabinet.

I converted one of my sprinkles to a GIMP animated brush, then went to use it, didn't like the way it panned out, so I made a new one from scratch that's a little better. You could open it and change each layer color and make it multi-colored. I tried using it as gradient and it doesn't have the same appeal.

I believe you can directly turn .tub files in .gih brushes. Link below (scroll down). I remember doing this, but if the tube doesn't follow and even spacing (many don't) you will have issues and then you will need to separate the individual graphics and create the brush objects manually.

I had to give making cookies a try, the plate doesn't look much like a plate though. This is like my 4th or 5th painting.

Lyle: This is correct. It's been so long I forgot where the line was on .tub files that are able to be directly converted. I have about 10 .tub files I was able to convert directly, but there seems to be a version cut-off point on the plug-in, because not all .tub files will open in GIMP. And as far as I know, the newer psptube format won't open in GIMP at all.
