Dinasset: I really have a mess right now with my computer. Some of it may be my problem yesterday. After my Windows update, it seemed like my 2.8 and 2.10 were all mixed up together. 2.8 icons to start were missing, and in the program files everything was labeled 2.10 and I did not install the portable in the program files! I had to delete all of my 2.8 and re install. I did save my user files but afraid to just put the whole thing back in as might have something in it that would mess things up again. I deleted my 2.10 and replaced it with Samj's 2.10.2. I had to redo all my preferences to link to the proper folders before I could do anything. I did not have my 2.8 installed when I re did the 2.10 but the 2.10 still lists my folders that show up when the program is executed. I really do not understand all of this. Anyway, I can now use your 2.10 programs without any problem again!

Today I played the filter without a selection and using a single pattern ("Leopard").

So nice outcome in leopard pattern. Thanks Dinasset for sharing it. I've tried mine in that pattern, too.

Issabella, how are you making a selection. It does not matter if I use the path tool to draw selections or make a selection with the Ellipse for other tool, shapes, the entire photo is decorated.

I don't know the cause of your selection problem, does the problem exist also for other uses of selections?
I did a (repeated) selection by hue (clicking on the greenish parts), then ran the filter.

Pat, I don't have any problem doing a selection and running the filter. I mean, I do the selection, invert selection and run the filter. So I get decoration outside selection.
