I see you posted many portraits processed without "cleaning" their faces; is it that you like them as they are (texturized) or that you are a bit lazy like me?
Anyhow: very nice outcomes!

Diego, woman 01, 02 and 03 I did not clean, that was a test for the filter.
The other results I did clean (I wasn't a lazy girl :) ) Maybe not well enough.
But I forgot to set the layer mode to lightness, as Issabella recommended in the tutorial.

Ella,
very interesting answer, because it implies you "accept" to see a bit of texture on faces, and that's good (for me, who always create textures in my filters...).

I know you aren't at all a lazy girl, hehehe...

I like the results from Dinasset, Issabella, and Ella, but I think I am still in that early learning curve. Need more practice. I will post, though, so you can give me pointers.

Pat, the images are very nice, but I do not see ANY TEXTURE on those, did you remove it totally (for instance modifying the mask from black to white)

I noticed after I uploaded that the texture marks did hot show as they did on the computer monitor. You can see them if you really zoom in closely. I will try fix it later in the morning.

Downloading and enlarging the picture I've seen the texture, very soft. Maybe too much?
Certainly, it's up to the taste of each viewer.
Anyhow, very good images.

I re did the Father/Son image. It is slightly easier to see this post but again was very evident on my computer. I found that when you click on the image to get the full image viewed, then click on the expand symbol to make the image its real full size, then the texture is very evident. What effects its visibility besides the script options? Should I have the images much larger or smaller when I run the script?

PS: I assume that the screen you are using on your current PC has a stronger contrast than mine.
Curious to see whether other people here can make an evaluation on their screens.

PS2: How did you "correct" the standard outcome?

I started over from the beginning and played with some of the layer opacities. I did not use a layer mask this time. Used Color/hue and saturation a bit if looked too bland.

Pat, I like your results a lot.
I see the texture on your last post clearly. Well done Pat. :hi5 :paint

I'm catching up in the drawing alphabet race

A couple using J plug-in on 'harsh' Aussie scenery and did some slight post processing on Mitchell Falls. Also tried K plug-in for first time but it crashed Gimp :( I will have another go later.

That fall is impressive.
Certainly not an image of serendipity...

Diego - thanks; the falls shot I took from a helicopter with NO doors, just a seat belt and lots of trust in the pilot :hehe

Can't let the Gimp Chat ladies have all the fun ...

EDIT: could not find the Style H thread even using the search tool - well it's late and I'm tired  ... so I added one I think is style H. My apologies Diego.
