Pretty simple, I used BRL with one of my chrome Emaps. Put it over the text effect layer and use "Merge Grain" blending mode. You can experiment with any Emap you have or try this one that I used.

Font is called "National First Font Dotted" Gradient is one i created Tiger_RD.ggr with Change Image.

It's a bit of a classy thread at the moment IMHO.

Rod, Sallyanne & Issabella being the most recent.
Some really interesting treatments on show.

Here's one using a new, thin custom font that needed thickening (converted to paths and re-stroked) before applying texture. It offers quite a good range of accented characters so worth the extra effort.

Custom font applied along a path in Polish to use the non-English characters (hope the Bing translation matches the English sub-titles) before 3Ding.

And another made from the same character paths but stroked with a simple zip toothed brush (zip toggle added manually) put through the metallic custom font filter.
