HELP - SEARCH AND RUN A COMMAND

i want to look up COLOR TO ALPHA in search and run a command

I write COLOR TO at the top,and then a list should pop up like the image below.

but nothing appears in my image,as seen in the image below.

does anyone know what could have gone wrong ?

i'm working with gimp 2.10.20

You should find "Color to Alpha" in the "Colors" menu. Maybe it's a language issue.

The only time it did not work for me is when I did not have an image open.

Have you added a alpha channel to the image?

I got the same no-image no-command result as mahvin; whether an image had an alpha layer didn't seem to matter.

And do you have Color to Alpha in the Colors menu?

it is about the youtube tutorial above,the issue starts at minutes 5.15 to 5.32
I find it strange that some people do and others don't, so there must be a menu or script missing.
I solved it in a different way,Below the result.
