A study I did while on vacations:) This is from another one of my many projects, a concept for my video game Interview with a Lonely Machine. As part of this I'm also learning Blender (another great OSS graphical software for 3D), so hope to be able to recreate this older character concept of mine in 3D form at some point:

Wow, darkness is your forte; just love that second image.

I always see a lot of green in your pictures ;)
I like the second one the best
BTW all the best with blender. If what you can do with other OS programs you will do well with it I'm sure.

Yes, yes she is :D She is meant to be pretty in an uncanny sort of way. Many of my characters are like that, coming to think of it.

Thanks, I like stark contrasts, hence why there's often darkness in many of my images I guess :) The second image is definitely the most 'worked on' of the two.

Someone called this particular green I use 'space green', which sort of makes sense. We'll see about Blender outcomes; you can tell it's a different beast of a program when both Ctrl-S and Alt-S saves different things
... :D if there's interest I may post a few results here down the line (once I get to something I'm happy with). Thanks for the comment!

I see that space aliens use hydroponics. Was hoping by the time we have the technology to actually travel interstellar, we would have also created a replicator. lol

Nice result again, Griatch. :)

@lylejk Glad you like it - and hah yeah, replicators would be nice, but not as visually interesting! :)

@Wallace: Thanks for the comment!
