I was bored, so for the past 3 hours I decided I would try my own version of an explosion effect I saw from a ps tutorial (can't seem to find it, sorry)

Like the disco ball explosion effect Mike. Would be cool if each of the panels was a photo and then the photos get exploded selective like you did it of course.

Thanks, I was gonna do exactly what I did on the right, on the left, but it takes awhile to do, but I'm definitely doing a tutorial on this, there's so many things you can do with this effect.

It's very cool, and modern looking.High tech sort of. I like these kind of effects.

Did you use Saulgoodes, 3-D-iffy script for the dimensional effect on the pieces?

Nope, just map object, and the paths tool for the 3d looking part. (I'm debating on doing a tutorial on this, it's pretty easy for the 3d effect, but everything else I did was just boredom, and tinkering around)

Yep, I made a photo manipulation called faceless as well, I'm gonna tweak it a little bit before I put it up. (I'm definitely gonna do a tutorial on the faceless manipulation, but it's 3 hours of smudging)

That's really cool, mike. It kind of reminds me of when I was doing PhotoMaster's puzzle tutorial and moving pieces out of the puzzle.
