I created two pixel patterns for you guys to use in your projects.They are only 8x8 pixels in size so pretty small.

nice patterns...I can't access them via the pattern list in Gimp...but I can go into the files system, choose the pattern, and open with gimp. crazy osx.

Not only your OS happens to me also in Win

Not sure if will happens with your patterns but happens with a lot of mine, are all usable but they are not displayed from the widget

and btw the chose pattern widget display is pure crap, it make impossible distinguish beetween not_totally_different patterns

I will try to see in the preferences if is possible enlarge the thumb size BUT the problem is not just the thumb size, the bigger problem is that the preview display dramatically cropped pattern

Like i said the patterns are only 8x8 pixels so they will be a square dot in your pattern viewer PC.

I really like those but am too lazy to make them. Thanks. I promise I'll put them to good use. You've also inspired me to get to work and make some of my own. I have some things I've thought about posting if anybody wants them but I guess I lack confidence that they will be of use.

One could distinguish between the patterns' names, were they so inclined.

Or you can just change the preview size.

Yeah you can actually make it pretty darn big if you need to.

GRRR, I spent a lot of time on the ones I was thinking of, several hours, and I ended up not using them so I zipped them into one file. Then I put he file somewhere where I wouldn't lose them. Need I say more?

Thanks Rod. I can definitely use these. Here's a quickie using the second one for the gold inlay. Couldn't seem to get the shrome effect just right on the border though.
