If anyone here uses Filter Forge i just submitted 2 new filters into the library.
You have to have Filter Forge 3 beta installed to download them though.

That cast iron pan looks fantastic Rod. FF is still on my wish list, but I'll wait until a good bargain comes my way before getting it.

I hear you.They want me to pay another 59 dollars to upgrade to 3 pro.
Which has lot's more fun toys to play with but right now i am just too strapped for cash.

I've never used the forge filter but looks cool to play with. That cast looks real enough to me

You can download it and use it for 30 days but then you have to pay for it or uninstall it.
basic is not too bad at 74 USD, but you can not edit or create filters.
With basic you can still download and use all filters and textures though.
There are about 8,400 in all right now i think.

That's a pretty pricy piece of software! $74 for the basic and you can do any creative work with that level?

I'm sure it's a fantastic piece of software but I'd like to know were they come up price scheme's like this? It's hard to believe that the market they're soliciting to can support this price. Unless they're shooting for the people that own Photoshop. Which then they have the money to throw away.

It's kind of like the guy with the $100K car, he can care less about the speeding ticket because he can afford the lawyer. Same principal.

Although looks like a pretty slick piece of software!

I just submitted Cartoon-Clouds_RD to the library. Should be available soon. =)

You guys that just grabbed FF 5 Pro if you are interested i can node this in FF 5 also.
This filter will only be available for FF 6 Pro in the library otherwise.

The filter requires a selection on your layer first.

TO DO:
Add
color
contrast
twists or tails with a curve in them.

removed forced selection
added bg sky color selector
added fade from edges
