 Post subject: Alien Skin?

I was going for alien skin anyway. Lyle got me to thinking about using edge detect and G'mic with his recent post and this iswhat I ended up with. Not exactly what I was after but what the heck, I was just playin' anyway. Made it seemless & tileable so you can save it as a .pat file and make a pattern out of it if you like it. Makes a really bizzare desktop background.

That's interesting. I've been experimenting with creating skin textures using G'MIC>Patterns>Cracks, Edge detect>edge and using the results as a bump map. I'm not quite there yet but I think I'm on the right lines.

:hehe Thanks for trying it out but it was just some goofing around. That killer robot would probably look better with some hull plate armor tho instead of my cheesy skin attempt. :rofl
