Feel free to add to your collection I'd like to also make a map like adventure theme next lol adjusting font colors and icons is tedious work though. hope you enjoy.

I think it's cool that you make Gimp themes, but this new theme of yours isn't for me.
I'd like to see a Celtic Gimp theme. I'd make it myself if I had a clue how to do it.

What a great idea! *Now what did I do with that Celtic design book?*

Heroik I'll have a look in the morning, your theme looks more complex than any I've done

To tell the truth I used a combination on premade themes as a template then replaced all the graphics to find out what graphic represented each area.
I then drew numbers on the graphics to see where the graphics displayed on the screen.

then created new graphics replacing each with the proper same name.
Then I opened the gtkrc in notepad and modified the script to change colors of fonts etc.
example:
text[NORMAL] = "#ff0000" would be red.
colors are based on hexadecimal color numbers.
To find the desired color I opened Gimp and used the color wheel
Gimps color wheel shows the hexadecimal number on the lower right
hand corner.

LOL to make it simple feel free to replace pngs with your own and open gtkrc to replace colors of fonts, background canvas color etc using hexadecimal numbers.
(be sure to make backup of old files, just incase you break something.)

No use reinventing the wheel have fun theming.

Did you guys know you could type in a color instead of a hexadecimal color number
Type in the word red, or cyan or lime, see what you get.

heroik: wow, really nice job you did on that theme! i love the scrollbars :). it's probably not a theme i will use (dark themes are better for my eyes), but i downloaded it anyway, just to take it out now and then and enjoy it.

erisian: you're probably too busy pouring that brown bean juice down your throat to get anything done, but if you ever manage to put together a celtic gimp theme i will love it to pieces, i know i will!

I have a few folders with hundreds of Celtic images and designs, I could use that. Or I could make these folders available to anyone interested in creating a Gimp Celtic Theme. (hint, hint) ;)

Heroik you were right about it being a feminine theme
dislikes was the text was not visible enough maybe should have been darker or black
likes the scrollbars were very inventive (loved the pencils)

Yep I noticed the font was a little lacking in contrast, I had made another theme earlier that used a lighter backdrop that I chose from some free Japanese designs yet I was unsure of the designs License so I replaced with custom backdrop that I made a little to dark I guess, noticed when I loaded it last night.

To tell the truth I guess I got a little lazy way and had company over.
lol even though a few buttons clicks could have fixed text contrast problem.

Thanks for the comment Graechan.
I was inspired by your past theme work thanks.

Here's a screenshot I've decided to put together using Celtic suggestion.
Screenshot of celtic theme
Gives me a chance to refresh on Gtkrc I'm typing comments into Gtkrc file, that way it will be easier for others to make and edit themes :). I'll post theme up on DeviantART when finished. :paint
