Just read through all the pages in this thread, and my only suggestion is that any forms be set up to be as simple as possible. Although I have a strong technical background, sometimes my thought process doesn't allow me to really put things into words the way I'd like (like now), and at the same time a detailed form would likely intimidate/confuse me (or some less experienced members). A simple page layout, where a user could drop in some information, could get their question across. If the user becomes intimidated by an elaborate page, they might not even post their question. Worse yet, they might see GC as being less user friendly.

Also I appologize if my comments seem disjointed. Difficulty putting my words together, tonight.

Photomaster, you can click on "New Topic" in the Help Forum to check what's there now. It's pretty simple and straightforward but I do take your point that some peeps might have no idea what version of Gimp they're using or even which OS version they have. Hopefully, others will be able to provide all the info needed to get to the right answer as quickly as possible.

That looks pretty easy to navigate. Anything they're not sure of, we can help them to figure out.
