Username help

So basically on most of the sites I have an account on the username 'Dutch' is already taken, and this time it was available but I still chose something else. So my question is can you change your username?

You can change it going to the user control panel > Profile > Edit accounts settings

I thought the last time I checked I was not able to change it?

Edit: I checked and I am pretty sure I can't change it.
