I just thought I'd post the maiden voyage of my drone. It's a cheap drone, it's very windy here and I'm still learning it. Hope you like it.

Congrats PhotoMaster. I've enjoyed seeing your video. I like when the camera takes a view of 360º slowly (the second time) and also you get a good stability on the dron. And the shadow that the dron proyectes on the ground, is nice. Can you see the image that it is shooting?
Thanks a lot for sharing. :coolthup

What I really like about this drone is the display that is built into the remote. I can see everything right on the remote. It also has a port to hook up VR goggles.

Hi PM. There is a howto on using a drone to make 360 degree panoramas. You would need a still, clear day
to get a good 360.

I've looked at making 'microplanets' recently but found the hugin program tricky to use.

I'm thinking of finding a way to hook my 360° camera to the drone. That would be interesting.

Thank you, I'm here because of a similar problem. I am glad that this forum is visited by some people who understand something about this issue.

My drone is a Syma X8HG. It has altitude hold, but not GPS. It's my first drone and I've crashed it a few times already. It is pretty easy to fly though and has a trick button to do 360 degree flips in all axis directions. I've shot some great video on it, but I don't feel like posting on youtube.

Fantastic PM :)
I had the same question Issabella had when looking at the video. Glad she asked it and you have answered the question too ;)
Can you take stills with it as well or do you just take frames out of your videos? Hope to see more of this one.

Is the drone doing flips or something? I've never seen drag biking before, looks kinda scary to me.

Yes, the drone is doing 360 degree flips on all axis of rotation.

Drag Racing has been around many decades now, I'm surprised you haven't heard of it. I've dragraced both cars and motorcycles. Motorcycles being my favorite and I was very successful at it too.

Yes, I have heard of drag racing with cars and dragsters, but never knew it included bikes!

Thanks guys. That's the only video I have of my old DragBike. I wasn't into cameras back then. I had just rebuilt the motor on my bike and took it to the track to break it in. A guy came up to me and asked if he could film me with his VHS camcorder and was kind enough to send me a copy. Eventually I got the bike down into the 8.50's @ 154 mph. My bike was Old-School. No nitrous of turbo, just all motor.
