Has anyone here experienced Windows 8 yet? If so, feedback would be appreciated.
It seems to me that almost all the places now are stocked with Windows 8. I have heard good and bad.

The reason I am asking is I have to get a second desktop tower and before I do I would like to know if Windows 8 is something to stay away from at this time.

All signs indicate that you should stay away from it.

If you buy a windows 8 computer, make sure that it has a way of turning off secure boot, because otherwise you might be buying a very expensive brick.

It depend from country to country but i believe that if you chose 7 you will also get a chance to upgrade to 8 at a promotional price (in case you want try 8)

But knowing MS i will stick with 7, till 8 will be sufficently patched, the first relaeses are often buggy

More for some reasons MS usually get 1 good hit every 2 release :
Win 2000 was crap,Xp was goods, vista a disaster, 7 fine ...if so 8 would be ...
