That's terrible.
He was one of my favorite comediennes and actors.
The "Big Giant Head" must have called him back. :-(

Very sad news indeed. Not sure what was troubling him to the point, where, well, you know. I'm reminded of something that was shared me many years ago. You can survive without food for weeks, without water for days, without air for a few minutes, but not even a second without hope. Condolences to his family; can't even imagine what pain they are going through right now.

Wow, what a shocker. He was such a funny and hilarious actor, he will be sadly missed.

On Golf

I enjoyed so much of his work, his character. This is so sad. What deep personal pain and yet he made everyone laugh. It reminds me of a song by Smokey Robinson where part of the lyric is:

Now there's some sad things known to man
But ain't too much sadder than
the tears of a clown
When there's no one around

I remember what Dick Cavett said about Groucho Marx, another great comedian who battled depression:

"He needed a Groucho Marx to cheer him up, and he was the only person who couldn't have one."

Thank you, Robin, for giving the rest of us a Robin Williams. And say hello to Groucho for us.

Very sad News this morning
The world lost a great Actor with Robin Williams
I know him from German TV since the 70s with his role in "Mork and Mindy" the Title in German TV was "Mork from Ork"
I think a lot of People will miss him

Bummer. It's hard to understand why successful people, who have achieved the fame and fortune they were seeking, are still so depressed they would take their own life.

It happens frequently though. I was just watching a documentary about Kurt Cobain, who took his own life as well.

We all get depressed but a couple of million dollars could cheer me right up.

Me too. but you know what they say, the more you have, the more you want... and money doesn't buy happiness.

but it can make you awfully comfortable while you're being miserable.

I grew up with the animated movies he voice acted as. Often I see an actor died and it doesn't effect me too much since I had no idea who it was (not to say I don't care!), but this one I actually knew and had a fondness for, this makes me extra sad!

I'm aware he did a whole lot more adult than kid stuff but for the stuff I saw him in I loved it!

RIP!

Of all the Robin Movies I have seen, this one was the most hilarious to me. He was so good at playing stupid.
