If you're interested in how to remove the Get Windows 10 app and it's icon. Check out this articles...

@mackenzieh I also had windows 7 on my other hard drive and I really didn't want to part with it cuz it is a very good version. I thought I had better keep up with with the upgrades so I bit the bullet and installed Windows 10. I am not sorry now because I am liking it more all the time and it is a lot easier to manouver around than windows 8 and 8.1. Those are a nightmare.
Just my feedback on this.

I never had windows 8 or 8.1.. just XP & then Windows 7. I don't want to upgrade just yet. I'm still keeping my Windows 7.

If you system is older then 4 years old, it's best not to upgrade to Win10 (various places where I read). :)

Windows 10 will soon be a forced upgrade for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 users. I for one am not happy about this at all.

That is Microsoft for you. From what I understand, Windows 10 will be the last version
I would change to Linux if I were you, I did and never regretted it.

I'm not sure if I can change to Linux. I wouldn't know how anyway.

Linux will install anywhere, you download the link and burn the Isi on to a DVD or sub stick, you can install from there. There is lots of instructions out there on Google
