merry christmas from sweden!

me and erisian (over for a visit) just want to wish the whole gc community a merry christmas and a happy new year!

we've celebrated well, with my family, in a christmas-cardlike surrounding and -20 degrees celsius outside. we've taken loads of pictures already in the days he's been here and maybe there'll be time to gimp-enhance them and share some of them while he's still here?

hope you all got/get whatever you most wished for this christmas!

Hi there, härliga svenska folket! :hehe

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
It's nice to see you back AnMal, say hello to Erisian for me, will ya?

I read this post only today, too late for a quick "Merry Christmas to you too".
So, please, move back the hands of your clock of something like 12 hours and..

... a warm Merry Christmas, Anmal and Erisian!!!

enjoy your staying and taking ...frozen pictures!
(which later you will share with us, I hope...)

Thanks everyone. We celebrated Christmas eve as is the custom in Sweden and we had a great time. After that I went down with a really bad cold and I'm now recovering. I just wanted to come on and say happy Christmas personally (I'm later than you dinasset)

Hi guys. Nice to hear that you had a lovely Christmas :santa

and I hope you get over that cold soon Erisian. Can't have you being ill while visiting your friend :hoh

. Hope you both have a great New Year :party

...maybe, next year you go together to Australia, a little more difficult for Erisian to take a cold in there during Xmas time ... hehehe (I posted this image also in another topic, sorry for the replication, but it looks so strange for northern people like you and me...)

Funny thing though dinasset it might not be as easy to get a cold in Summer but because the temperature swings from hot to cool so much it happens. Some people are more susceptible than others.
BTW cool picture. You even got the beer belly.

dinasset: nice santa

- but a christmas without snow is always a tragedy. if erisian learned to drink healthy, wholesome tea instead of that brown bean juice he's addicted to i'm sure he'd stay well...
everyone, especially all of you: i'm glad to know you're all still around, i look forward to coming back to gimp chat 'for real' and not just when i can borrow a computer and internet access. happy new year to you too, sallyanne and to all the rest of you!

yes, Anmal, you are right!
when I was young this was my home area around Bologna, and I want to use this picture for my "Happy New Year" to you, Erisian and all Gimp-chatters
