An interesting read, The golden ratio has spawned a beautiful new curve: the Harriss spiral
Quote:
Inspired by the golden ratio, mathematician Edmund Harriss discovered a delightful fractal curve that no one had ever drawn before. But it’s not just a pretty picture, it contains some lovely theory – and brings the golden ratio into a family of perfect proportions...

Cool!
That new fractal might look good as a BRL image.

Nice one Lyle. :bigthup
John Golden has GeoGebra info here and an example (toggle: Points and Rectangle).
Ofnuts has a Golden Spiral filter, I wonder if it could be modified for a Harris spiral?

Thanks for the info Odin; hopefully the app can also run in WinXP or Win8.1. I'll check it out later; just got back from doing more then a few errands. :)
