I am sorry but this is friggen hilarious! Finally the comment "Macs are invulnerable!" has been rendered useless! LOLOLOLOL. I am sorry also for trolling in advance.

Being double sandboxed pretty much protects me except from myself of course; no such thing as perfect protection, but I'm pretty happy with my security setup. I laugh at drivebys (and around a year ago, got hit by one from mediamilitia which I got my skulls clipart from). That's the real secret that nobody (well not enough) are sharing. You have to browse and do anything online sandboxed; anti-virus programs are just not good by themselves and are a waste of resources if you don't sandbox and firewall (Windows firewall's been good enough for me; use to use zone alarm but got tired of Windows updates screwing up zone alarm so just kept using Windows firewall). :)

Apple maintains its own version of Java, and as with this release, it has typically fallen unacceptably far behind Oracle in patching critical flaws in this heavily-targeted and cross-platform application. In 2009, I examined Apple's patch delays on Java and found that the company patched Java flaws on average about six months after official releases were made... link

Waiting 6 months to patch a security flaw, after the flaw has been made public, is crazy. Any would be hacker or script kiddie could easily fashion a virus AFTER the exploit is public. I'm currently Java free and considering Apple's policy, I believe I'd just dump Java, unless I really needed it.
