I understand where you are coming from, I don't have the most understanding or compassionate family myself.
I hope things get better for you! Head up, don't let her take joy away from you, if you love Gimp then you keep at it the best time allows! What gives you joy don't let anybody take it from you!

if you don't have inclination or energy over for gimp work, gimp chat or blogging that's understandable and you can always go back to it when things are getting better again.

I know how you feel this days.
Three years ago I had the same with my stepmother.
It was a bad time and we did not know how it goes.
But now we live in our own house in another city. We have lost much, but also won another.
Don`t give up Esper!

Otherwise, whatever changes in your life you may face, look at the bright side.
This could be a sign to get your world shaken up a little bit and the possibility to start afresh.
