 Post subject: Pseudo CGI look

Anybody have any thoughts on how to make a photo look like CGI? I want to create an avatar for a game forum. A real photo seems out of place​and a cartoon seems even worse.

I was thinking maybe decompose it to remove the fine details then bump the saturation a bit. But I don't think that would be sufficient, if it even worked at all.

Share an image and I'll apply fake HDR to it and see if that's what you are trying to get the look of, sasquatch. :)

HDR would probably be a big step in the right direction. Don't have a photo at the moment.
