IMO, also in your case, the second try is better than the first one: colours are closer to the real ones...

The bike, although 26 years old has 135 horsepower available! It has more than enough power for me. Its main attractions: comfortable, quiet, effortless and no need to prove anything to anyone! (You did notice, I put the speedometer at 150 MPH - fine chance - just something outrageous to do on the photographs!)

Back to my favourite village in Greece.
The first is a view across the village just before sunrise. (I have reduced the size in the interests of speed!)
The second is a wall painting in the 13th/14th century church, Ayia Paraskevi. The cultural organisation of the village is trying to raise the money to have the paintings restored.

your second image, David, is a real challenge.
With such an historical fresco, just a single attempt by me, to improve contrast/colours
(applied tone-mapping first and color-vibrancy later, on duplicated layers, set to multiply, respectively at 90% and 65%)
Nothing really significant

A lot of local details enhancements in G'MIC in different color spaces.

Question: under all your images is information about the title and how much views the image has had. How can I achieve that?
