Hi all,
My husband is a 4H leader and the group wanted to make special county shirts for those that make it to the state fair. The logo given to me is about 244 x 158 and fuzzy. I've contacted the county extension office for a better logo, but they couldn't provide me with one. It was the same size, and just as blurry. Recreating this logo isn't necessarily difficult overall, but the font is specialized and I have no idea how to easily recreate it. I only have a week or two to make something, and I'm dealing with some big family issues but I don't want to let the kids down either. If anyone can give me an idea how to blow up this image and make it printable great. If you would like to volunteer to help out our 4H and make this image killer, that would be much appreciated.

Upload the logo here and we will see what we can do for you. Welcome to Gimp Chat BTW! :)

Thank you! One suggestion was to put this on the back of a shirt so it would have to be rather large. I'm working on a possible 2nd image for the back and this would go over the breast pocket. It depends on what the county approves.

When you find out what the county approves or wants, you may have to start over in a program thet does vector drawings. Then you can have it as large or small as you like. Gimp is a bitmap editor and you will have no choice but to use it at the one size unless you make a couple of different sizes.

Used UpScayl to uprez the image. Might need some additional cleanup (i.e., hopefully someone else will take up the mantle) :)

Great job Lyle! :bigthup

I was going to suggest opening in Inkscape and trace it to vector. Then just re color. But you have done a fine job here.

Wish I could say I did a find job, but have to admit, the AI bot did a fine job. lol

There's no equivalent uprez ability using convention filter means, sadly other than, like you said, doing it by hand. Way too lazy for that. Even so, I see a lot of cleanup needed for this result, but too lazy and have 2 jobs to keep me busy. lol

:)
