I don’t know very much about using a spherical Emap.

Try this image as a template Ella Louise, simply drag colors to selected areas or gradient paint the areas.

There’s always a lot to read when I visit GC, sometimes a bit too much for me :oops:

The outcomes of the gradients are shown on relief letters, are they specially made for this (the letters and the gradients)?

If I understand correctly - the answer is yes the color bands relate to areas of the text. For experimenting, the best I can suggest is to run BRL using the the disk in previous post. Then change a color band in the disk, save it under a new name and run BRL again using the new disk. That way you can compare the changes.

Ella Louise - when I can access my hard drives I will upload the zone map I made for applying set colors to regions in the text.

I basically just replaced the colour layer with the blended gradient in this map creator I put together.

Thank you for your explanation SysTemX, there’s still a lot I don’t understand. But hope to improve by reading and practice.

Creating a gradient and next a Spherical Emap has succeeded. But I still have a problem.

When I click the Bevel Reflect Logo the pop up window is too large. I can’t click OK. The bottom of that window disappears under de computer screen. I can move it to the left and the right but not upwards I can’t reach the OK button.

You can install the script-fu scrolling interface. It will provide scroll bars when script dialogs are too large for the screen.

Just download the version that matches your OS, extract the binary into your plug-ins folder and restart GIMP.
