I think you pretty much nailed it. It looks great.
:clap
Just a hint of white edge around the bottle and the orange slice closest to the left of screen.
Might want to grow the selection a little more before cutting out the white background.
Just a suggestion, maybe move one of the fruit slices lower down in the layer stack so it appears partially obscured by the bottle to increase the depth of the image.
Great job following the video tutorial though. :hi5
I bet your chuffed with your efforts ;)

Yes, I agree with Fluffy. Also on the top part of the orange slice on the left should be erased away a bit to make it disappear behind the white blur the same as he did with the bottle.
This kid really knows his stuff and I have seen a lot of his tutes but he goes too fast and it is hard to catch it all without pausing more than several times. You have certainly tackled quite a task and did a very nice job of it.

Thx I'm looking for that G'MIC filter Split Object Too..

What version of G'mic are you running?
Refresh your Filters list by pressing the 'double arrow' button below the filters list.
Then as Esper said above look in Testing->Garagecoder, it should be in there.

THX !!!!!!!!! 2.8

Found it.. Nice. I also found another nice one in Testing. Ronounours>Faded Mirror !!! I was wondering if there is something that I can do the same with two different pics. I'm making .gif... and there lots in my sets. The faded mirror knocked out 168 nicely.

Glad you liked it. It took me a while. I might tackle this one again when it gets close to summer. I don't feel like editing it.

I wasn't trying to do it exactly like he did which is why my attempt came out slightly different. You're right, he does go too fast. I had to pause the video like 10 times. Overall, I think I did a fairly decent job.
