I recommend giving it a try as it can greatly speed up your workflow for animations. That and using
Google Web Designer (I prefer Adobe Edge Animate but even though the Edge apps are no longer being developed Adobe still requires you to pay a monthly fee for using their Creative Cloud platform to use their applications).
Yah I've seen synfig before, everytime I downloaded it and tried to even draw a picture I got really frustrated and gave up. XD
Too many bells and whistles, I'm not smart enough for it. XD
I'm sure if I actually took time to figure it out I could make some cool stuff tho.
