I love it. I'm wondering if he had some chomping teeth if he'd look more evil. Really nice job though.
Yes, slower would be better but you've got that under control.
Some older games used to have animations that would play if you didn't touch the controls for a while (e.g. Commander Keen would pull out a book and read, or moon you in the temple). I think the worm should look at the "camera" and flash a toothy grin if the player doesn't move.
I don't have any idea how to do that, but it would be funny. xD

Lost of vertical wiggle, but no forward movement Moko. lol
I do like it though.

Well, in the game he moves back and forth so it would make more sense...unless I'm missing what you're talking about. xD

Moko: it looks nice and would probably do good in actual game size. i think it stretches out and pulls together very nicely, it looks natural.
I'm glad it's a caterpillar or worm and not some other kind of creepy-crawly! i can just about stand caterpillars. well, i can stand them as long as they don't get into my bathrooom and attack me there, that is.

I don't like bugs either, but since we're in a garden I have to come up with something!
I don't think a caterpillar will attack you in the bathroom! A spider might...not a caterpillar!
