I used the Gimp 'big 3' - G'Mic, Gimp-GAP and MathMap. Also Kdenlive and Audacity. Attributions are on YouTube.

That was interesting and well done. Did you do the sound channel panning in Audacity or Kdenlive? I was wearing headphone while viewing it, so it was very obvious.

Hi racer
I did the audio only in Audacity and exported as mp3. Then added it to 15 or 20 avi clips in Kdenlive.
Some effects like delay, reverb and phaser does that panning effect.

I'm very basic on audio and search for Creative Commons music that I think may work.

Thanks for the 'like' Lyle. Not sure what they do to videos on YT but they degrade a bit.
I know somebody uploading 8k videos but he uses 2 expensive graphics cards.

Tas_mania - WOW, now that is something very special by way of animation and sound. :jumpclap

I did have a play with Audacity a couple of years back but only to help clean up my old vinyl when transferring it to MP3.

Glad you liked it OMG. Audacity is probably the Gimp of audio. The best music is owned and enforced by YT.
Using your own music is the ideal solution. I've taken a shortcut and used Creative Commons licensed.

I've been following a project that uses audio to make 3D fractal animations. It's still in it's early stages.

Those videos you linked to are very cool Tas. I've never used Mandlebulder, but it looks like a nice program.

Aviutl can animate an object via sound. It uses a math script. You enter an equation to tell it how much to control the object. I don't really understand it and just add various numbers to see the effect.

His uploads are now all 8K by the look of it and he composes his own music often using a 'Chapman Stick'.
Some of his stuff takes 2 weeks to render.

The thing about 3D fractals is each one is a unique universe because they use both real and imaginary numbers in the equations.

I will pass on Aviutl for now 'cause I don't want to run it with Wine.
