Just updated this today. I used two filters to come up with this. (Only one from GMIC)

Nice, if there was an offline version of this, it would just be perfect.

G'MIC can be ran native, but it's a command prompt situation (i.e., no gui). Using this version, you can actually run commands on high bit images too. I prefer a GUI though so I continue to use the GIMP plugin.
