Hi,

I managed to complete a project I started years ago.
A MATLAB implementation of "Fast Anisotropic Smoothing of Multi Valued Images Using Curvature Preserving PDE".

It's not completely the same results as in GIMP, but anyone who would like to try improve it and work with MATLAB for doing it easily can find the code here:

Currently, I want to make it work on images in the range [0, 1] instead of [0, 255].

Moreover, I see some clipping and issues in Highlights areas (Something the code in GIMP also have, so solving in MATLAB will be able to solve it in GIMP as well).

Last time I used Matlab (actually it was Simulink) was back in 1999. lol

Very powerful program then; I'm sure even more powerful now. :)
