Some news about the project.

Hello there,
After releasing the latest version 1.7.1 of the G'MIC framework, I've started writing a kind of summary of what have been done on the project for the last 5 months or so. With the help of Pat David, we ended up with a (nice) long article that describes all the new features recently added.

Ohh you guys! I'm just a small cog in a much larger machine. Guess I'll have to create something to get into the next article....

Actually the string handling in the new 1.7.2 should help with something I'm wanting to do. It seems odd to want string handling in a graphics language but I don't see any way around it to get what I want to do. Hope to be able to show you something in the next week.
