A word of caution to anyone using q4wine for stippling via voronoi. Once you download Wine and q4wine and have it working, be sure to remove any ppa's from the software update list for those programs. q4wine updated and broke the library paths. It could only be opened via LD_LIBRARY_PATH prefix and when it opened it no longer recognized Wine's libraries. I ended up going to notesalexp.net to get a working updated version of q4wine.

I also noticed that gimpchat is making a lot of first pages on search queries for gimp related questions. Hopefully anyone that runs into this problem will find this post.

simply unistall and reinstall q4wine would not fix ?

No, I tried that numerous times. I had to change the ppa to another debian provider, with a working update, because the original update was broken.

Sort of related so why start another thread. Used both Voronoi Stippler and G'MICs Packed Sprites sot G'MIC and stipple sort of fits. lol
