Interesting to have another Sketch tool, a bit hardness sketch or soft sketch. It seems less "mechanichal" to do things like that:

I like this gmic filter. It took a while to find the right picture though. I still may try some of the others I skipped over.

You have got a nice Xmats card!!!
Ever I work with a bit warped copy of the original pic (g'mic bilateral or segmentation, scriptfu/sharpness/warp sharp, gegl-bilateral and/or redfield-fine touch).
