Hi
After many years of using GIMP I've finally started looked at G'MIC. It sheer number of filters was off-putting to me but to my detriment. I'm now appreciate what a superb plug-in this is.
I've seen a couple of references to filters in G'MIC that I'd like to use but can't find them. My guess is that they've been renamed. These are the two I'm looking for Soft Glow and Grizou.
Any ideas?

Hi bazm

The search filters in "About" shows up:

Sequences -> Soft glow [animated]

I'm not certain what's happened to grizou, I can't see any reference to it even going back several versions...

That was quick. The animated soft glow is not what I'm looking for. On some screen shots I've seen, Soft Glow appears in the Artistic filter section.

Many thanks for looking.

artistic -> soft glow, which to me looks like, degradations -> glow[blur]

but I think grizou has gone see:

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5895 for what it looks like.

What effect did grizou do?
Some one may be able to find it if the name is changed.

If you want to see the effect of the filter, go back a couple of posts and follow the link.

On the basis of never throw anything away, pulled out of my archives an old (windows) gmic and the samj.gmic file

This is the interface of the filter

Can not get it to work in my up-to-date linux Gimp / gmic, ( no effect in ~/.config/gmic ) anyone want to try, samj.gmic.zip attached, remember to unzip it.

I guess that it's necessary David "translates" the old-style commands in order to see results

Oh ok, so this is the same filter.

Many thanks, I'll have a play around with this.
