Hi,

I only just discovered G'MIC today by chance when I was doing some searches on skin color grading/toning with RGB curves, which in turn led me to Pat Davids blog page - "Getting Around In Gimp". My main interest would be in the potential use of G'MIC for grading of video.

I have Gimp 2.8.14 and the G'MIC plugin (1.6.2.0) installed on Kubuntu 15.10 (AMD 64). I wondered if it might be possible to batch process G'MIC-transformed image sequences via the BIMP (1.16) batch manipulation plug-in, but it would appear not - G'MIC is not one of the available 'filter sets'. Something for the BIMP developer to consider maybe? I read also that work is in progress to integrate G'MIC in Flowblade and Natron, which is something to look forward to.

Meanwhile, is there any open-source (linux or windows) imaging software out there capable of doing this at this time?

Thanks.

If you have several images to process with the same G'MIC filter, it should be easy to use the command-line tool instead of BIMP.
It is the most powerful interface of G'MIC so far, and this is probably something it can do easily.

OK, thanks. CLI's are not really my forte, but I'll give it a go. Before I delve into that, will it be possible to pull in the Film Emulations that way?
Cheers.

Flowblade 1.6 video editor now includes a version of G'MIC.

No Windows and OS X versions of Flowblade.
