A simple plugin but can save you some time.
Copies the active layer a specified number of times.



In menu: Layers ➤ Copy multiple times
(You need to click on the layer in the Layers dock).

Could be re edited to work in Gimp-3?

80% of the functionality is native already since you can select multiple layers in Gimp3

The transition from Gimp-2.10 "habits" to Gimp 3 is slow, and this plugin doesn't work for multiple selections (it will use the first layer in the list).
