Gimp 2.8rc1 accepts all depreciated proceedures without giving error messeges as in 2.7

2.6 scripts live on :yes :wh

Yea, but there's still a lot of patching to do before 2.8 wins over me completely, but so far I've worked around those issues. Can Can't do so for Sigmoidal Contrast and Lab Curves plugins since they pass TIF files to the routine before passing the result back to GIMP and there is a TIF bug with 2.8 for whatever reason. Still, thanks to Graechan, Mathmap works, and also have most of the plugins that I've used consistently with GIMP 2.6x. Looks like 2.8 will be a much easier transition then 2.0 to 2.2 to 2.4 to 2.6 was. Like the backwards compatibiliy features allowing both 32-bit and 64-bit filters to be useful. :)
