David Smith seems to be doing this alone, I hope there are some kind of apprenticeships possible for this kind of thing.
It would be a shame and a catastrophic loss to see this kind of artistry gone/lost.

What i do is too cheap when i see this video. :(
But you can recreate it with GIMP if you had the right ressources. Search on Deviantart: ornament, victorian, ribbon, banner.

There are some great resources available on Dave Smith's website, but I don't think his resources are free.
