David Smith's (the artist) web-site has a similar look: http://davidadriansmith.com/ and as he's quite local to me, there's always a possibility that one day I could get to see some of his work in person.

David Smith seems to be doing this alone, I hope there are some kind of apprenticeships possible for this kind of thing.
It would be a shame and a catastrophic loss to see this kind of artistry gone/lost.

What i do is too cheap when i see this video.

But you can recreate it with GIMP if you had the right ressources. Search on Deviantart: ornament, victorian, ribbon, banner.
