Oregonian maybe to avoid this topic may be better close this topic to open a new one (i.e. "Gimpchat Halloween kit " or "Gimpchat Halloween kit submissions" )?
Then transfer there all contributions till now

Thank you, Photocomix. I've moved this whole topic to Gimp Discussions and I'll move the kit donations to Gimp Resources and sticky it.

I also replaced the new web in the zipped file to a grayscale one so it can be colored any color easily. You may want to re-download it to get the updated brush.

Well dang! I mark the ones I want to split and move on each page and when I go from one page to the next the selections turn off. Looks like I'm going to have to do them one page at a time. :gaah

@ Lyle:

This is our discussion about the kit. All of the donations for the kit go to the Gimpchat Halloween Kit Submissions post.

No, you're not crazy, I just got the subject title changed. Now they have different names.

I have moved your squirmy one over to the Kit Submissions. Love it. Thanks!

Cool bats, PhotoComix.

You are correct:
grayscale brushes have white bgs (a single grayscale brush is flattened; animated grayscale brush layers have alpha channels.)
color brushes have transparent bgs.

Oh, no, don't flatten a colored brush. It'll take on the bg color.

Yes, you flatten a grayscale brush so that it takes on the fg color.

No, don't flatten an RGB bw brush with a transparent background.
