I've gone to great lengths to make custom short cut keys to access things fast in gimp. If I were to start over from scratch it would take a long time to redo it. I wonder if there's a file that is created that I can backup, or save so that I might use it later by putting it back in its file location. And also would a file like this be able to be placed on another computer.

If I was to send someone a copy of my menurc file and they replaced the one that they have with it, would it work for them?
Would they have all my same shortcuts?

Likely, but I don't know how it would behave if these people were missing plug-ins/scripts for which you have a shortcut.

Oh, OK that's good. I'm pretty sure that all my shortcuts are for main functions of gimp. I'm showing someone how to do stuff in gimp and I'll send him the file so he can follow along and do the same shortcuts. If it doesn't work I'll mention it.

Thanks, PegLeg
