I have someone interested in Gimp...I would like to know what is the best Gimp download for Windoze 8? Preferable with G'Mic already installed?

Generally there are two choices for GIMP downloads. The official one from gimp.org which is just GIMP or Partha's builds which include lots of other things, G'MIC included - although I don't know how how customizable Partha's installers are - is it possible to be selective about what gets installed? or are you forced to accept all the bloat?
