Any folk here use a Bamboo by chance? Just curious as to how they like their Bamboo when using GIMP. :)

Mine is worth its weight in gold. I can't imagine life without it. it works well with gimp too.

I have a Bamboo One. Works well with 2.6 in Windows XP and Ubuntu Lucid.

I only peaked through the transparent bag Odin so I don't know which one but it does look big. lol

Glad to see that the Bamboo appears to be GIMP friendly. :)

Wacom tablets in general are considered the ones best suitable for GIMP, especially since Linux support is quite excellent.

I use a Bamboo one and it serves me very well indeed. I'd be lost without it.

I've got a Bamboo connect. I don't use it too often with Gimp (mostly Photoshop), but it works beautifully with both. (Thought unless they fixed the issue, pressure doesn't work in 2.8 yet)

The tablet itself it's gorgeous and well made. Definitely worth the price tag :)

Pressure works fine in 2.8 for me.

That's odd? 2.8 relies on a version of GTK+2 that doesn't support pen sensitivity, and they actually said you'll have to wait for 3.0 or use 2.6! But hey, if it's working now, great :D

I don't have a Wacom tablet but I have come across the mention of the tablet issues with 2.8x.
