Hello everybody,

I'm a retiree, and after years of using Nikon point & shoot software, I've finally taken the plunge and downloaded Gimp. It goes without saying that there will be a learning curve, and any 'easy read' material suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Welcome to Gimp Chat, isaacpfaff
My advise is you may start to follow nice easy tutorials so that you can be confident with Gimp. I'm sure you'll always find help in this forum, too. :)

Welcome to Gimp Chat! :) Here is a link to the documentation ENGLISH help manual. As the versions change as does the manual but most tools stay the same.

Welcome!

I'm sure you'll be off and running soon! Gimp is a wonderful program, and it's worth the learning curve as it is such a useful program.

The people here are a great bunch who will be glad to help you with any questions you may have.
