Evening all, very inexperienced newbie here

Hello

I'm Sid and very new to drawing.
Short story,
I had sepsis, in a coma for a few weeks and after waking up I found I now have the ability to draw.
Weird eh !
But I have found gimp and it is fantastic, I'm currently using it on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.

I do have a few questions in general about drawing but within gimp, in you know what I mean

Could you give some advice about best place to post question about turning a side view image to a front view ?

Welcome Sid. If you are artistically inclined, perhaps using a tablet would make drawing work well for you.
